Different types of artistic output have specific file formats to be distributed in the digital realm: there is .JPG for photos, for instance, .MP3 for audio, .MP4 for video, and .EPUB for books, as well as numerous alternatives. Your media player and/or ereader reads these formats for you to enjoy them, and organise your collection. There is however an omission in your collection of digital media... what do you do with conceptual works? To solve this, WLFR introduces the .LFR file format for concepts. As concepts 'happen' in the mind, the format creates empty files with only metadata to define the project. Using .LFR files, conceptual artists can finally release and distribute their works throughout the digital world, and as a collector, you can organise them with your other media files at last.

The .LFR format is open source, and a dedicated concept player is under development. 'Playing' a concept means you will create the time you need to focus on the selected concept.
